Preparation of Pipeline and Distribution Systems for Hydrogen Transmission and Carbon Capture and Storage
Joshua is the Senior Technology Leader for the Corrosion and Environmental Testing group at EWI. He has extensive experience in materials degradation, electrochemistry, and environmental testing, and applies his expertise by directing testing and research and providing solutions related to infrastructure and materials selection challenges.
Since 2007, Joshua has worked in contract R&D, covering a wide range of industrial applications. He holds four patents, including one for an eco-friendly corrosion-inhibiting coating additive. He continues to author peer-reviewed publications and has delivered numerous presentations on materials, corrosion, and energy-related topics.

This session will explore the preparation of pipeline and distribution systems required for hydrogen transmission and carbon capture and storage (CCS). The presentation will focus on materials considerations, infrastructure readiness, and corrosion challenges in adapting current systems for emerging hydrogen technologies.
